Wreck
Fishing
There are a great number of shipwrecks off the Donegal Coast from the two World Wars. Many of these were never fished by the sea angler. Loinnir, with its high speed, comfort and licensed to 40 miles, brings many of these big wrecks within reach. Offshore peaks in deep water offer good fishing marks, similar to wreck fishing. Depths range from 60 - 120 metres. A good number of species can be caught by a combination of fishing, drifting reefs, mixed bottom sand and rock or at anchor with rubby, dubby over the sand.
